  1. 1. Juice/JDC ion measurement perturbations caused by spacecraft charging in the solar wind and Earth’s magnetosheath

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi

    Författare :Derek van Winden; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Juice; Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer; JDC; Jovian plasma Dynamics and Composition analyzer; Particle Environment Package; PEP; Jupiter; Ganymede; Callisto; Europa; solar wind; magnetosheath; spacecraft charging; Spacecraft Plasma Interaction Software; SPIS; charging; plasma; measurement perturbations; perturbation; distortion; particle detector; Institutet för Rymdfysik; IRF; Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies; DIAS; European Space Agency; ESA;

    Sammanfattning :  In July 2031, a new chapter in the exploration of the Jovian system will begin with the arrival of the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) at Jupiter. Launched on April 14 2024 as part of ESA’s Cosmic Vision programme, the mission aims to study Jupiter and its icy Galilean moons Callisto, Europa, and Ganymede. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Battery Degradation and Health Monitoring in Lithium-Ion Batteries: An Evaluation of Parameterization and Sensor Fusion Strategies

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Simon Saber; [2024]
    Nyckelord :model-based diagnostics; modellbaserad diagnostik;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this project was to perform model-based diagnosis on Li-ion batteries using real-world data and sensor fusion algorithms. The data used in this project was collected and distributed by NASA and mainly consists of voltage and current measurements collected on numerous batteries that were repeatedly charged and discharged from their beginning of life, and until surpassing their end of life. 3. 3. Evaluating the Accuracy of Chloride Meters, The ChloroChek instrument in Sweat Testing for Cystic Fibrosis

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för medicinsk cellbiologi

    Författare :Hawa Abshir; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Pilocarpine iontophoresis; coulometric titration; CFTR-mutations; salt consumption and sweat storage.;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a hereditary disorder caused by genetic mutations, which affect the chloride ion channels, leading to disrupted salt balance in different organs. A lack of properly functioning chloride ion channels can lead to formation of thick mucus, which hinders organ function, especially in the lungs where repeated inflammation occurs. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Domarförslagsorganens tillkomst och arbete - En komparativ studie av hur förslagsorganen har vuxit fram och deras roll i domarutnämningsprocessen i Sverige, Danmark och Norge.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Juridiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Juridiska fakulteten

    Författare :Ludvig Sporre; [2023]
    Nyckelord :statsrätt; komparativ rätt; Law and Political Science;

    Sammanfattning : I uppsatsen diskuteras och jämförs förslagsorganen och domarutnämning i Sverige (Domarnämnden), Norge (Innstillingsrådet for dommere) och Dan-mark (Dommerudnævnelsesrådet). Fokuset ligger främst på förslagsorganen, men i och med deras roll diskuteras även domarutnämningen i sin helhet. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Investigating self-discharge in a graphite dual-ion cell using in-situ Raman spectroscopy.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Strukturkemi

    Författare :Ismail Yussuf Hassan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :graphite; dual-ion battery; parasitic reaction; cathode-electrolyte interface; anion intercalation; concentrated electrolyte; self-discharge; Raman spectroscopy;

    Sammanfattning : Anion intercalation in the graphite positive electrode of a dual-ion battery requires high potential (> 4.3 V vs Li+/Li), which aggravates parasitic reactions involving electrolyte decomposition and Al corrosion, manifesting in poor coulombic efficiency, cycle life, and quick self-discharge.
