1. Information security cultures and challenges in higher education: A study from the university researchers’ perspective
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för informatikSammanfattning : This bachelor’s thesis research focuses on information security. With the growing use of technology in research, information security has become an increasingly important concern for academic institutions, which face, among other, challenges related to the protection of sensitive data from unauthorised access, theft, and misuse. 2. Knowledge Retention in Practice : How organizations avoid knowledge loss through proactive and reactive knowledge retention processes
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Företagsekonomiska institutionenSammanfattning : This thesis's purpose was to gain a deeper understanding of how organizations create knowledge retention (KR), both proactively (day-to-day basis) and reactively (when an employee decides to resign), to avoid knowledge loss. A qualitative multiple case study was conducted through semi-structured interviews, with eight respondents from eight different organizations. LÄS MER
3. Transverse Momentum Spectra in pp collisions (\sqrt{s}\) = 7 TeV and \(\sqrt{s}\) = 13 TeV in ALICE
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysikSammanfattning : In this project particle production as a function of transverse momentum (\(p_{\rm T}\)) in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy (\(\sqrt{s}\)) of 7 TeV and 13 TeV has been studied. The transverse momentum is interesting to study since it reflects momentum created in the collision (before the collision, all momentum is in the beam - going in a longitudinal direction) and therefore gives information on the collision dynamics. 4. Climate dystopias in German newspapers : An argumentation analysis of the climate apocalypse imaginary in German newspapers
Magister-uppsats,Sammanfattning : Climate change is a “future-sensitive issue” (Kumpu, 2013, p. 53). Research has shown that expectations about the future influence current behaviour. Furthermore, research has shown that media still play an essential role in informing the public about the topic climate change (Neverla & Schäfer, 2010). LÄS MER
5. Problems caused by unilateral measures while taxing the digital economy: Does the value creation approach suggested by OECD solve the problem?
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för handelsrättSammanfattning : This thesis examines the challenges arising from unilateral measures taken by both developing and developed countries to protect their taxing rights in the digital economy, leading to issues of double taxation. It focuses on India's equalisation levy and the UK's diverted profits tax (DPT) as examples of unilateral measures. LÄS MER
