    Sammanfattning : This paper analyzes the evolution of narrative forms and the use of war metaphors in written press related to drug trafficking in the newspaper La Capital of the city of Rosario (Argentina), between 2011 and 2022. In mid-2013 there was a rise in crimes related to the world of drug trafficking, which in our opinion, favored a change in the way of narrating and the use of the linguistic resource of metaphors related to the field of war. Participation in På spåret has been connected to prestige and status, where a display of knowledge is seen as admirable, but unsuccessful performances are stigmatized.     Sammanfattning : Young people without extensive knowledge of the family languages risk experiencing alienation and identity crises. This study focuses on two young people and their relationship to the family languages through life story interviews.
