   Sammanfattning : The purpose of the study was to expose the economic norm on which the teaching rests to see if the governing documents and teaching materials give students the nuanced and multifaceted picture of economics that social studies and the Swedish school require.    Sammanfattning : This study utilises Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to examine media discourses on rent increases in the Swedish rental housing market and their reflection of crises within neoliberal regimes.
