    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to investigate parameters that influence the effectiveness of the two main methods of smoke management, thermal and mechanical smoke ventilation, to determine when one of these methods is favorable to the other.     Sammanfattning : This report contains a fire safety risk analysis of the X-ray Ward in the hospital in Värnamo. Värnamo hospital was built in 1976 and is today one of the biggest district hospitals in Sweden with approximately 1300 employees.
