   Sammanfattning : Hästens små blodmaskar är hästens vanligaste endoparasiter. Sjukdom är vanligen asymtomatisk, men vid hög parasitbörda kan diarré, plötslig viktminskning, trötthet och svaghet ses. Hästarna kan också drabbas av larval cyathostominos som orsakas av ett massutträde av larver ur tarmslemhinnan och som i värsta fall kan leda till döden. LÄS MER

The World Health Organization’s human rights-based approach emphasizes the “prevention, control, elimination and eradication of neglected tropical diseases” through the use of preventative chemotherapy, such as the mass administration of deworming drugs to improve people’s health.
