  1. 1. Formulation development, rheological characterization, and cosmetic evaluation of gel-creams

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)

    Författare :Carl Pontén; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Rheology; Texture analysis; Viscometry; Semisolids; Design of Experiments; Critical Process Parameters; Critical Quality Atttibutes; Pharmaceutical Technology; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Oil in water (o/w) emulsions are thermodynamically unstable systems composed of small oil droplets dispersed in a continuous aqueous phase. This means that given enough time, the two phases will separate. Pharmaceutical emulsions are used as a method of administering the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) for topical applications. 2. 2. KAUSALITET I UTBILDNINGSVETENSKAP

    Magister-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för filosofi, lingvistik och vetenskapsteori

    Författare :Magnus Sjölander; [2023-07-07]
    Nyckelord :Orsak; kausalitet; lagbundenhet; manipulerbarhet; kontrafakticitet; sannolikhet; mekanism; empirism; realism; metaanalys; metasyntes;

    Sammanfattning : Syfte: Uppsatsens övergripande syfte är att bidra till en ökad vetenskapsteoretisk förståelse av kausalitetsbegreppet inom utbildningsvetenskap i en svensk kontext, och hur den kunskapen kan tillämpas i undervisningspraktiken. Specifika syftet är att belysa hur olika aspekter av kausalitet avspeglar två grundläggande forskningstraditioner i två olika synsätt på kausalitet inom utbildningsvetenskap, och hur synsätten kan användas i praktiska beslut som varje lärare behöver fatta i sin vardag. 3. 3. Can an alternative cosmovision challenge the market hegemony? : an analysis of article 6.8 in the Paris agreement

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Urban and Rural Development

    Författare :Amanda Björksell; [2023]
    Nyckelord :climate negotiations; Paris agreement; Buen Vivir; ; Vivir Bien; article 6.8; climate justice; Bolivia; non-market approaches;

    Sammanfattning : A rising global temperature and increased emissions, in combination with the slow progress of the yearly climate negotiations shows that there is something hindering the radical improvement needed to protect both the planet and humanity. The outset for this thesis is to study the UN climate negotiations and the alternative discourse that can question the hegemony. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Exploring electroweak symmetry breaking in the scale-invariant Two-Higgs-Doublet Model

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Erik Rustas; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Two-Higgs-Doublet Models; 2HDM; Scale-invariance; Baryogenesis; BSM; Baryon Asymmetry; Coleman-Weinberg Potential; Theoretical Particle Physics; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the properties of a general scale-invariant Two-Higgs-Doublet Model and its phenomenological consequences with focus on the scalar sector. The concept suggests that introducing more CP-violation, both spontaneous and explicit, may make it possible to meet the Sakharov conditions and account for the Universe's baryon asymmetry. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Exploring New Physics Through Collider and Gravitational Wave Measurements with Artificial Neural Networks: the Case Study of QCD-like Technicolor

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Ashar Ahmed Kamal; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Artificial Neural Networks; ANN; Beyond the Standard Model; BSM; parameter space scan; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : With physicists actively exploring Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) theories that may fill in the gaps of the Standard Model (SM), a fundamental question arises: which parameters hold physical significance? In this thesis, we present our initial progress towards the development of a model-independent artificial intelligence framework designed for conducting parameter space scans in BSM scenarios. Our framework incorporates several publicly available high-energy physics packages, namely SPheno, HiggsBounds, HiggsSignals, and CosmoTransitions. LÄS MER
