1. Cooperative Modular Neural Networks for Artificial Intelligence in Games : A Comparison with A Monolithic Neural Network Regarding Technical Aspects and The Player Experience
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Fakulteten för datavetenskaperSammanfattning : Recent years have seen multiple machine-learning research projects concerning agents in video games. Yet, there is a disjoint between this academic research and the video game industry, evidenced by the fact that game developers still hesitate to use neural networks (NN) due to lack of clarity and control. 2. Investigating the influence of the tidal regime on harbour porpoise Phocoena phocoena distribution in Mount’s Bay, Cornwall
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Investigating the influence of the tidal regime on harbour porpoise Phocoena phocoena distribution in Mount’s Bay, Cornwall Abstract Unintentional by-catch in fishing gear is a significant cause of mortality of harbour porpoises in UK waters. Understanding the spatial distribution of harbour porpoises at fine scales and how this changes over time is essential when trying to understand where these lethal interactions might occur. LÄS MER
3. Behövs licens för livsmedelssäkerhet - En fallstudie om behovet av livsmedelslicens inom restaurangbranschen
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för miljö- och klimatvetenskap (CEC); Lunds universitet/Miljövetenskaplig utbildningSammanfattning : Despite available training in food safety, regular inspections from the authorities and strict laws and regulations, the number of suspected food poisoning is estimated at 500,000 cases per year in Sweden (Norling, 1994). 4. How Multipolarity and Globalization Have Changed the Nature of Tax Multilateralism : A Comparison of the OECD Model Tax Convention Negotiation with the Negotiation of Pillar One and Two
Magister-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Juridiska institutionenSammanfattning : Can a multilateral negotiating process—that is, cooperation between many states in a single forum—successfully reform the network of bilateral tax treaties that currently makes up the bulk of international tax law? The BEPS Project aims to be the first major push for a multilateral tax process since the creation of the OECD’s Model Tax Convention in the 1960s. Through BEPS, the OECD and 130-plus countries are in final negotiations to implement Pillar One and Two, which will: (1) create a new taxing right for “market jurisdiction” countries on the profit of international companies that do business there without a physical presence; and (2) implement a top-up tax levied against companies that offshore profits from intangible assets in low-tax jurisdictions. 5. Four years with Cotula coronopifolia : Monitoring and climate suitability modelling
Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysiologisk botanikSammanfattning : Cotula coronopifolia is a short-lived plant that originates from South Africa and Namibia. It has been present in Europe since the 18th century. This study includes a monitoring inventory of two C. coronopifolia populations on Öland, Sweden, which has taken place continuously four consecutive years (2018-2021). LÄS MER
