    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this essay is to investigate how civic teachers and students perceive mobile as a didactic tool within the civic subject at the upper secondary school. In the result interviews the civic teachers testify that it is possible to create the conditions and opportunities to use the mobile as an effective didactic tool for training the demanded social science knowledge concerning power, democracy, equality and human rights, but that time is also required.
