  1. 21. Application of Lamb waves using piezoelectric technique for structure health monitoring

    M1-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Simon Mauritz; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Structural health monitoring SHM ; damage detection; Lamb waves; piezoelectric PZT ; printed circuit board PCB ; circuit simulation; Strukturell hälsoövervakning SHM ; skadedetektering; Lambvågor; piezoelektrisk PZT ; printed circuit board PCB ; kretssimulering;

    Sammanfattning : Structural health monitoring (SHM) is damage detection strategy for aerospace, civiland mechanical infrastructure. This project tries to show that Lamb waves, that are being generated and sensed with piezoelectric transducers, can be used for damage detection in a SHM system. LÄS MER

  3. 23. A Novel Two-Level Inverter Design for Efficient Energy Conversion in a Maglev Train Rail

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Oskar Zetterström; Stefan West Westholm; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IGBT; Inverter; Gate-driver; Prototype; Pulse width modulation; Sine wave; Maglev train; IGBT; Växelriktare; Grinddrivenhet; Prototyp; Pulsbreddsmodulering; Sinusvåg; Maglevtåg;

    Sammanfattning : This report covers the construction of a prototype inverter system designed to power the rail of a maglev train, from component selection through simulations and power demands to mounting and wiring the components into a cabinet. The inverter is made with insulated gate bipolar transistors controlled with pulse-width modulated signals provided by a custom microcontroller. LÄS MER

    Författare :Maja Andersson; Jonathan Garte; Johan Karlsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Humanity is facing one of the biggest challenges ever presented in fighting climate change. To counter global warming, industries and scientists across the world are shifting manufacturing towards fossil independence in order to decrease emissions. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Quadcopter Control System Design and Implementation with LQR assisted by Kalman Filter: An Experimental Study

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Ludwig Horvath; Martin Petré; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This study stems from the audacious assumption that two bachelor students could successfully construct a functional quadcopter from scratch, covering both software and hardware aspects. The project begins by establishing a foundation for modeling the quadcopter dynamics, including derivation and linearization techniques for implementing a linear quadratic regulator (LQR). LÄS MER
