    Sammanfattning : Women who have joined the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS, have been understood as serving passive and largely supportive roles in ISIS state-building by media and, to a far extent, academia.     Sammanfattning : This study examines how cultural journalists in Sweden represented the Danish poet Yahya Hassan from when his first collection of poems was published until the year before his death.     Sammanfattning : The Danish cartoon crisis was triggered by the publication of twelve cartoons of the prophet Muhammad by the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten in 2005 and had a significant impact on world politics.     Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this study was to investigate what common trends are within the communication of acts of terror towards the public within the Nordic countries. This was done by positioning the portrayal of terrorism within the theory of framing by Entman (1993) and the model of framing terrorism by Norris, Kern and Just (2003), which provided the following sub-topics to analyze during the research in regards to terrorism: (1) problem definitions, (2) diagnoses, (3) moral evaluations, (4) treatment recommendations, and (5) political messages.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to investigate how women, having migrated from a Muslim country to Sweden, reason about their veiling – why do they wear the veil and what meaning does the veil have for them? The veiling custom has become the subject of a heated and polarized debate in Sweden. But where are the veiled women given space to speak, and why are they not involved more in a debate that most of all concern them?                                                                                                                                    Four women from Syria, now living in Sweden, participated in this interview study.
