Denna studies övergripande syfte är att utifrån en jämförelse mellan en ny aktör inom true crime, och ett mer etablerat mediehus, utröna i vilken mån de faktiskt förhåller sig till publicitetsreglerna , och hur de båda aktörerna använder sig av fiktionella element för att bygga ett narrativ utifrån verkliga händelser. Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Fakulteten för humaniora och samhällsvetenskap (from 2013)Sammanfattning : The purpose of this essay is to show the narrator’s use of the male and the queer gaze in three short stories by Edgar Allan Poe: “Berenice: A Tale” (1835), “The Man that was Used Up: A Tale of the Late Bugaboo and Kickapoo Campaign” (1839) and ”The Man of the Crowd” (1845). Through close reading of the stories, I show how the different gazes work, how they are used in the stories and what they lead to. LÄS MER
5. How to communicate efficiently on social media : A case study about emotional communication strategies by the climate activist group Rebellmammorna
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : This case study aims to explore how emotional communication on social media can influence the target group by examining the communicative strategies, including visuals and narratives, used by the climate activist group Rebellmammorna. Eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with members of Rebellmammorna to investigate how they describe their communicative strategies, how they use emotional communication to establish a relationship with their target group, and how users experience the communication on their social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and their webpage).
