   Sammanfattning : This bachelor's thesis has investigated four different hydrogels loaded in different solvents efficiency to remove unknown ink from four pelvic bones and one skull from five bear individuals that belongs to The Swedish Museum of Natural History. The experimental part of the thesis consists of an FTIR analysis together with microscopy and macroscopy analysis of the ink on the bear skeletons, as well as some tests of different gel-solvent combinations on a moose skull.    Sammanfattning : The Quercy area of France is an important site for mammal palaeontology, yet 19th century collections of this area, such as the one in the Department of Palaeobiology, Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, remain understudied due to not being well updated taxonomically and correlated stratigraphically. An updated taxonomy was created for the postcranial material of the collections, as well as the dental material originally identified to the amphicyonid genera Amphicyon, Haplocyon and Pseudocyon through study of morphological characteristics and measurements.    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this masters thesis is to compare two exhibitions, ”The Human Journey” (Den mänskliga resan) at the Swedish Museum of Natural History and ”History of Sweden” (Sveriges historia) at the Swedish History Museum. Utilizing exhibition analysis and interviews with relevant staff personnel, with a basis in institutional theory, the thesis explores the differences between both of these museological institutions, the chosen exhibitions and the underlying themes of the natural sciences and cultural history respectivly.
