  1. 1. Digital Model of a Mining Stacker for Material Tracking : Modelling a Mining Stacker with Forward Kinematics for Material Tracking

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Livia Maria Waller; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Mining; Material tracking; Bucket wheel stacker; Gruvteknik; Materialspårning; Skovelhjulsstaplar;

    Sammanfattning : The Fourth Industrial Revolution is reshaping the manufacturing industry with the emergence of interconnectivity, smart automation, and cyber-physical systems. A popular example of cyber-physical systems is the digital twin or digital model, which both create a virtual (cyber) representation of a system. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Developing a Rainfall-Runoff Routing Model using  Spatially Distributed Travel Times : Modelling a Cloudburst Event in an Urban Catchment

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Sara Ekeroth; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Excess rainfall; Runoff routing; Cloud burst; Pluvials; GIS; ArcPy; Effektiv nederbörd; Avrinningsmodell; Skyfall; Pluviala översvämningar; Geodata; ArcPy;

    Sammanfattning : The future holds challenges for urban areas when it comes to handling pluvial floodings, occurring when the rainfall intensity exceeds both the man-made and natural infiltration and drainage capacity. To gain understanding of the effects and needed measures, tools for modelling the urban response to events such as cloudbursts are needed. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Applying Human-scale Understanding to Sensor-based Data : Generating Passive Feedback to Understand Urban Space Use

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Byggteknik och byggd miljö

    Författare :Adam Eriksson; Hugo Uppling; [2021]
    Nyckelord :movement data modelling; urban space use; forecasting; time series; space syntax; Prophet; citizen passive feedback;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to investigate how parametrization of large-scale person movement data can contribute to describing the use of urban space. Given anonymous coordinate and timestamp data from a sensor observing an open-air mall, movement-based parameters are selected according to public life studies, behavioral mapping, and space syntax tools. 4. 4. Attractor Neural Network modelling of the Lifespan Retrieval Curve

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Patrícia Pereira; [2020]
    Nyckelord :reminiscence bump; attractor neural network; Bayesian Confidence Propagation Neural Network BCPNN ; recency; synaptic plasticity; episodic memory; ”reminiscence bump”; attraktorneuronnät; Bayesian Confidence Propagation Neural Network BCPNN ; nysseffekt; synaptisk plasticitet; episodiskt mine.;

    Sammanfattning : Human capability to recall episodic memories depends on how much time has passed since the memory was encoded. This dependency is described by a memory retrieval curve that reflects an interesting phenomenon referred to as a reminiscence bump - a tendency for older people to recall more memories formed during their young adulthood than in other periods of life. 5. 5. Implementation and experimental evaluation of a parameterized PMSynRM model using Matlab and Comsol Multiphysics

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Israt Jahan; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Comsol Multiphysics; eddy-current losses; permanent-magnet synchronous reluctance motors; reluctance; Comsol Multiphysics; virvelströmsförluster; permanentmagnet synkrona reluktansmotorer; reluktans;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on modelling of the permanent magnet synchronous reluctancemotor (PMSynRM), which has drawn considerable attention by researchers thanks toits high efficiency and wide range of speed operation. Comparisons with measurementsfrom a four-pole PMSynRM with four barriers and 24 stator slots have been carriedout. LÄS MER
