    Sammanfattning : Stark polarisering mellan vänster och höger längs den klassiska endimensionella ekonomiskpolitiska konfliktlinjen inom partisystem, är ett av alla de fenomen som gör att väljare upplever val som mer betydelsefulla och som i forskningen har en väldokumenterad positiv effekt valdeltagande. Denna studie tar sig an en mer underforskad fråga, nämligen huruvida parlamentsinträdet av nya partier från alternativa partifamiljer, som varken är vänster eller höger, kan bidra till höjt valdeltagande.     Sammanfattning : The essay discusses the different responses to constitution changes during the summer/fall 2015, allowing a new term limit for the presidents in Rwanda and Burundi. By using theory on dominant party systems the text tries to explain this has resulted in a lost dominance in Burundi, while the RPF-dominance in Rwanda has prevailed. LÄS MER
