  1. 1. Stora hjärtan som hjälper alla, men på bekostnad av vad? En kvalitativ studie om kvinnors medberoende i en parrelation

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Socialhögskolan

    Författare :Linnéa Dolge; Emma Sparrman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Co-dependency; co-dependency in relationship; family dysfunction; alcohol- and substance abuse; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This study has examined how women's codependency on their male partner with alcohol or drug problems is expressed and how codependency can be understood in relation to their upbringing. A qualitative content analysis of 7 podcast episodes where women talked about their upbringing and codependency was made. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Use of the JET pedestal database to assess the role of ion temperature and plasma rotation on the discrepancy between ideal peeling-ballooning model and experimental data

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Max Eichenberger; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Nuclear fusion; Joint European Torus JET ; H-mode; pedestal; Edge-localized-modes ELMs ; Peeling-Ballooning; relative shift; ion temperature; plasma rotation; Kärnfusion; JET Joint European Torus ; H-läge; piedestal; ELM Edge LocalizedModes ; peeling-ballooning; relativ förskjutning; jontemperatur; plasmarotation;

    Sammanfattning : Next-generation and present fusion devices such as the Joint European Torus (JET) aim for plasma operations in H-mode, a plasma regime with high confinement and low loss of energy and fuel that results from a barrier for heat and particle transport at the plasma edge, the pedestal. Due to steep gradients of the density, temperature and pressure profiles, the pedestal experiences instabilities called Edge-localized-modes (ELMs) which lead to large fluxes of heat and particles that might damage machine components. 3. 3. Effect of a new pedestal width constraint on the pedestal predictions with Europed in JET fusion plasmas

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Eleonora Iurlaro; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : As the whole world is facing and will face further challenges in the future in meeting the energy demand, thermonuclear fusion could be part of a future sustainable energy scenario. However, there are still many problems related to fusion that need to be addressed before implementing fusion energy in fusion power plants. LÄS MER

  4. 4. “A feminist subversion of fairy tales” : Écriture féminine, gender stereotypes, and the rejection of patriarchy in Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber

    Kandidat-uppsats, Södertörns högskola/Engelska

    Författare :Fjola Murati Kurti; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Fairy tales; Grimm Brothers; Angela Carter; The Bloody Chamber; patriarchal binary oppositions; patriarchal oppression; Écriture féminine; Hélène Cixous; heroine; femme fatale.;

    Sammanfattning : Fairy tales are usually described as short narratives that end with happily-ever-afters, imposing patriarchal ideologies. The Grimm’s fairy tales serve as the foundation of many other stories which promote stereotypes like woman passiveness, submissive beauty, while men are put on a pedestal for being active and violent at the same time. 5. 5. Den gröne mannens börda : Kolonial plikt i H G Wells The War of the Worlds

    Kandidat-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för kultur och estetik

    Författare :Kristian Hultqvist; [2021]
    Nyckelord :H G Wells; The War of the Worlds; postcolonialism; colonialism; science fiction; duty; deontological ethics; Rudyard Kipling; The White Man’s Burden; Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak; the subaltern; imperialism; invasion literature;

    Sammanfattning : In 1898, H G Wells published The War of the Worlds, a scathing indictment of colonialism from the perspective of the colonized. The following year, Rudyard Kipling penned The White Man’s Burden, describing colonial conquest as driven by duty, for the sake of the subjugated. LÄS MER
