1. Towards the control of photo-ionization with electron wave-packet interferences
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : In this work the photoelectric effect is explored through simulations of the phase shift that an IR-field can induce into an electron wave packet and the photoelectron distribution over frequency components that is produced in the photoionization of an atom with a attosecond pulses made of XUV photons. The IR-field is sent along two attosecond pulses made of XUV photons towards a 3D momentum spectrometer were there is a gas that can be photoionized and the photoelectrons can be measured. LÄS MER
2. Freeze-drying of protein pharmaceuticalin vials with different character
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för farmaciSammanfattning : Freeze-drying of protein pharmaceuticals is a procedure frequentlyused to obtain stability of the active pharmaceutical ingredientduring distribution and storage. It can be performed in pre-filledsyringes, with a lubricous coating of silicone on the inside, toenable the piston moving. LÄS MER
3. Photoionization study using few attosecond pulses and coincidence imaging techniques
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Photoionization is one of the most fundamental photoreactions that leads to the ejection of an electron and the formation of an ion. With the help of modern 3D momentum imaging spectrometers, the interplay between the time and frequency domain upon ionization is studied. LÄS MER
4. Numerical simulation of Rosetta Langmuir Probe
L3-uppsats, Rymd- och plasmafysikSammanfattning : By modelling and simulating the ESA spacecraft Rosetta in a plasma with solar wind parameters, and simultaneously simulating a particle detection experiment of Langmuir probe voltage sweep type using the ESA open source software SPIS Science, we investigate the features of Rosetta’s envi- ronment in the solar wind and the e↵ect of photoemission from the space- craft on the measurements made by the Langmuir Probe instrument on board Rosetta. For a 10 V positively charged spacecraft and Maxwellian distributed photoelectron emission with photoelectron temperature, Tf = 2 eV in a plasma of typical 1 AU solar wind parameters: ne = 5 ⇥ 106 m3, vSW = 4 ⇥ 105 m/s, Te = 12 eV, Tion = 5 eV, we detect a floating potential of 6. 5. Effect of escaping photoelectrons on the magnetic field of Mercury
Master-uppsats, KTH/Rymd- och plasmafysikSammanfattning : Mercury is the tiniest planet in the solar system and that closest tothe Sun. It has a similar magnetosphere like the Earth, which to firstorder can be described as a magnetic dipole. The center of the dipoleis shifted 0.2 Mercury radii toward north, hence, the magnetic strengthare not equal at same latitude on the north and the south hemisphere. LÄS MER
