1. In vitro optimization of Swedish chaga (Inonotus obliquus) : the path to chaga cultivation in Sweden
Master-uppsats, SLU/Southern Swedish Forest Research CentreSammanfattning : Chaga has become more popular in recent years as a beneficial natural supplement and wellness tea. Understanding chaga source limitations and its harvest dynamics as well as it’s potential revenue streams would be important for future chaga growers in Sweden. LÄS MER
2. Design, implementation and evaluation of a deep learning prototype to classify non-pigmented malignant skin cancer from dermatoscopic images
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTHSammanfattning : The current trends for most fair-skinned populations are that the incidence of melanoma and non-pigmented skin lesions is growing, and this growing trend will continue for the upcoming years. The emergence of deep learning networks and their promising results in solving real-world healthcare problems and improving diagnostic accuracy opens new possibilities. LÄS MER
3. In-vivo assessment of unwanted tissue heating during near infrared laser light emission
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : In this work, potential adverse tissue heating in conjunction with near infrared (NIR) laser spectroscopy was studied. The tissue heating from laser light within the NIR optical window is currently a relatively unexplored field. LÄS MER
5. Functional analysis of polyketide synthases in the biocontrol fungus Clonosthachys rosea
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Mycology and Plant PathologySammanfattning : Clonostachys rosea, a filamentous ascomycete, is a well-known biological control agent (BCA) against a wide range of plant pathogenic fungi. Genome sequencing revealed that C. rosea strain IK726 possess 32 genes encoding for polyketide synthases (PKS), which is significantly higher than the more studied biocontrol fungi Trichoderma.
