   Sammanfattning : This literature review asks the following:  How is writing instruction realized in L1-classrooms (in the Swedish upper secondary school or its equivalent globally), considering standardized testing as a background factor? Standardized testing has become established in Sweden as one way to audit the school system and evaluate knowledge levels for the sake of guaranteeing an equitable education.    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the effectiveness of Tabular Variational Auto Encoders (TVAEs) in generating high-quality synthetic tabular data and assesses their compliance with differential privacy principles. The study shows that while TVAEs are better than VAEs at generating synthetic data that faithfully reproduces the distribution of real data as measured by the Synthetic Data Vault (SDV) metrics, the latter does not guarantee that the synthetic data is up to the task in practical industrial applications.    Sammanfattning : The aim of this paper is to gain a greater understanding of the meaning-making process behind Finland and Sweden’s decision to join NATO in 2022, and by so, deviate from their long-standing tradition of military non-alignment. Instead of solely pointing to the Russian invasion of Ukraine as the official reason for NATO membership this paper suggests that the concept of strategic culture can provide one with a greater understanding of their decision to join NATO.
