  1. 1. Characterisation of Ionic Liquid doped Polybenzimidazole Membranes for Application in High-Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)

    Författare :Adam Jacobsson Trönndal; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Fuel cells; Phosphoric acid; Polybenzimidazole; PA-PBI; Ionic liquid; IL; High temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell; HT-PEMFC; Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy; EIS; IL-PBI; Chemical engineering; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In this study four membranes were tested and evaluated against each other for use in high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC) applications. A phosphoric acid (PA) doped polybenzimidazole (PBI) membrane, was used as a reference as the current state-of-the-art. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Influence of Post-treatments on Corrosion Properties of 3D printed Metal Components for Bioprocessing Applications

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Materialvetenskap

    Författare :Leyla Koort; [2023]
    Nyckelord :PBF-LB 316L; surface post-treatments; as-built; tumbling; Hirtisation; DLyte; electropolishing; chemical milling; pitting corrosion; CPT; cyclic potentiodynamic polarisation curves; immersion test in 1M NaCl and 1M NaOH;

    Sammanfattning : Additive manufacturing (AM) has the potential to overtake the conventional production of pipe systems of stainless steel grade 316L intended for bioprocessing applications by utilising powder bed fusion laser beam (PBF-LB) technologies. However, challenges such as high surface roughness need to be overcome and corrosion properties improved to meet industry standards. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Who is listening? An examination of the Norwegian state’s environmental injustice towards the South Saami: through the development of Storheia and Roan wind farms on Fosen, in Trøndelag

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för kulturgeografi och ekonomisk geografi; Lunds universitet/LUMID International Master programme in applied International Development and Management

    Författare :Ida Jensen Croff; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Wind development; green colonialism; indigenous rights; South Saami; environmental justice; listening; decolonisation.; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the Norwegian state’s environmental injustice towards the South Saami through the development of Roan and Storheia wind farms on Fosen, in Trøndelag. By analysing all of the development stages, starting with the assessments in 2008 and ending with the Supreme Court judgement in 2021, the dialogue between the South Saami and the Norwegian state is scrutinised. 4. 4. Measuring the Pulse Duration and the Time-Dependent Polarisation State of Ultrashort Laser Pulses with the D-Scan Technique

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Atomfysik

    Författare :Daniel Díaz Rivas; [2022]
    Nyckelord :pulse characterisation; ultrashort; laser; femtosecond; dispersion scan; polarisation; wave plate; temporal reconstruction; electric field reconstruction; time-dependent polarisation; polarisation gate; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Ultrashort laser pulses with time-dependent polarisation states have many applications, such as the generation of isolated attosecond pulses and the study of the optical chirality of molecules. In this project the polarisation gate, built from two quarter-wave plates of different orders, is thoroughly characterised in experiment and simulation. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Information Operations & The Rising Threat in the Cyber Domain. Case Study of Finnish Governments Addressing the Cyber Threat Environment and Policies Countering Information Operations

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för journalistik, medier och kommunikation

    Författare :Tuuli Marjaana Järvinen; [2021-07-27]
    Nyckelord :Information operations; information warfare; cyber environment; extended security; policy analysis; hybrid influence;

    Sammanfattning : This research was inspired by two courageous Finnish women, journalist Jessikka Aro and PhD Saara Jantunen, who shined a light on Russian hostile behaviour on the Internet and started discussions about information operations nationally and internationally all over the world. Due to personally becoming a target of aggressive information campaigns, Jessikka Aro had to move abroad from her home as the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service suggested there is nothing to be done to counter the attacks or safeguard her from getting harassed online and "offline".
