    Sammanfattning : Denna litteraturstudie undersöker om man bland forskare och experter håller det sannolikt att Covid-19 kan förväntas påverka nutida stadsbyggnadstrender då rådande pandemi medfört en högre grad av distansarbete samt potentiellt förändrade flyttmönster och boendepreferenser. Tidigare trender som på ett nationellt och globalt plan har varit aktuella är ekologisk, ekonomisk och social hållbarhet med fokus på klimatet men pandemin kan ha belyst vissa krav om att framtida städers utformning måste prioritera folkhälsan, detta kan kollidera med den aktuella trenden förtätning.
