7. Designing UI for color correction and grading tools for the web-based program Accurate Video
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronikSammanfattning : Color correction and grading are processes when fixing colors in recorded footage in Post-Production. The process of the two mentioned is a mix of technical adjustments and creativity. Color correction adjusts the colors between the clips/scenes so they match and look as natural or unique as possible. LÄS MER
8. Model Based Reinforcement Learning for Automatic Tuning of Cavity Filters
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : As telecommunication continues developing, the demand for mass production of well calibrated Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) components increases. Cavity Filters are an essential piece of every BTS; however, manufacturing tolerances often lead to detuned filters which require costly post-production fine tuning. LÄS MER
9. Cost Optimisation through Statistical Quality Control : A case study on the plastic industry
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för industriell ekonomiSammanfattning : Background. Shewhart was the first to describe the possibilities that come with having a statistically robust process in 1924. Since his discovery, the importance of a robust process became more apparent and together with the consequences of an unstable process. LÄS MER
10. Från partitur till skiva - Att spela in LYRC Orchestras stråksektion
Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Högskolan för scen och musikSammanfattning : This paper seeks to answer the question: “How does one mic, record and process string instruments in a non- classical recording, and where the end product is a soundscape not typically associated with the stringed instrument family?” A few unique challenges were dealt with along the way: How to track the string section, that relies heavily on the acoustics of a given room, very close in order to maximize control over sounds in post- production without losing to much of the characteristics of the instrument. What microphone positions create the ideal sound? My solutions to these challenges is the main body of text in this paper, and my findings can be summarized as follows: overhead micing each violin and viola with large diaphram condenser microphone, micing close to the bridge with a large condenser microphone for the celli, and in post production relying quite heavily on the audio from the room microphone captured with both small- and large-diaphragm condenser microphones.
