   Sammanfattning : How is the American security concept discursive constructed by the presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump during the election campaign 2016? By utilizing a discourse- theoretical analysis and a poststructural feminist perspective, the aim of this study is to explore how gender constructions operate in the discursive construction of the American security concept.
