    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the transition of Quantum Chromodynamic (QCD) matter to a strongly interacting Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP), where quarks and gluons become deconfined.     Sammanfattning : In this project particle production as a function of transverse momentum (\(p_{\rm T}\)) in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy (\(\sqrt{s}\)) of 7 TeV and 13 TeV has been studied. The transverse momentum is interesting to study since it reflects momentum created in the collision (before the collision, all momentum is in the beam - going in a longitudinal direction) and therefore gives information on the collision dynamics.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis we study the width of the Higgs boson in the process pp → t ̄t 4l at LO using MadGraph5_aMC@NLO to generate the events. The contributions including the Higgs signal, continuum background and interference were considered in order to calculate the expected number of events in a broad range of four-lepton invariant masses.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this project was to develop an updated event selection procedure and toevaluate the performance of the procedure for the p̅p->Λ̄Λ reaction using the latestversion of the experiment software, PandaRoot, which is an offline software created forthe needs of the Panda experiment. The written algorithm was checked by comparingthe reconstructed kinematic quantities of the final and composited particles with thekinematic quantities of true particles, and by comparing our results with the resultsobtained using the previous version of PandaRoot.
