  1. 1. Functional characterization of sterol regulatory element transcription factors in the biocontrol fungus Clonostachys rosea

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Forest Mycology and Plant Pathology

    Författare :Alma Gustavsson Ruus; [2022]
    Nyckelord :SREBP; Sterol Regulatory Element Binding Protein; Sterol regulatory element transcription factor; INSIG; SCAP; Clonostachys rosea; biological control; hypoxia; antagonism; Botrytis cinerea; Fusarium graminearum; Boscalid; Proline; prothioconazole; Integrated Pest Management;

    Sammanfattning : Phytopathogens account for a large portion of the yield loss in the world today. Developing sustainable strategies to limit their effect for increasing food safety and security is one of important challenge for agriculture and horticulture production systems. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Combining biocontrol fungus Clonostachys rosea with chemical fungicides – for integrated management of Fusarium foot/root rot

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Forest Mycology and Plant Pathology

    Författare :Sebastian Bengtsson; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Biocontrol agent; Clonostachys rosea; Fusarium culmorum; Fusarium graminearum; prothioconazole; Proline; Fusarium foot root rot; ; Integrated pest management;

    Sammanfattning : Fungal plant diseases have typically been controlled by the application of chemical pesticides. However, excessive use of chemical pesticides may produce undesirable side effects including fungicides tolerance in pathogens and environmental problems, if not handled correct. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Combined chemical and biological control of Fusarium graminearum: co-application of antagonistic bacteria removed from winter wheat leaves

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Crop Production Ecology

    Författare :Milena Schulz; [2015]
    Nyckelord :Fusarium; wheat; prothioconazole; integrated pest management; antagonists;

    Sammanfattning : In the future Sweden needs to comply with EU directives which require the stronger implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) which includes the reduction of the amount of pesticide applied in order to control plant pathogens such as Fusarium graminearum in wheat. The idea in this study was to compensate the reduced chemical control from the fungicide by the co-application of antagonistic bacteria which were isolated from winter wheat leaves. LÄS MER
