    Sammanfattning : The Spanish slug, Arion vulgaris, is an invasive species in Sweden and the rest of northern Europe, dispersing rapidly and widely and it has become a significant pest for both gardening enthusiasts and commercial farmers.     Sammanfattning : Some of the main deterioration problems concerning wall paintings is structural degradation of the wall painting and the flaking of the painted layer. Consolidation, both in the form of reinforcement of the rendering of the wall painting and the re-adherence of a flaking paint layer to the underlying substrate, have thus been an important part of conservation efforts concerning wall paintings.     Sammanfattning : On ancient Egyptian polychrome art and mainly on coffins, it was normal practice to apply a thick ground and gesso before painting the wood. Sometimes varnish was also applied.
