  1. 1. Synthesis and characterization of lactic acid-based elastomers

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomi

    Författare :Afsaneh Makhdoumi; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Lactic acid; Elastomer; Bio-based elastomer; Renewable resource;

    Sammanfattning : Synthesized polymer from bio-based and renewable resources reported as an attractive substitution for fossil-fuel based polymers. Therefore, this work has focused on using sustainable material for production of elastomers to reduce the environmental impact of fossil-based elastomers and overcome the shortage of non-renewable fuels. 2. 2. Synthesis and Investigation of Nitrile-Containing Polymers Inspired by Lignin

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Författare :Tobias Lindborg; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Lignin; Polymer; Renewable; Bioresource; Glass transition temperature; Nitrile; Polymer technology; Chemistry; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The lignin-inspired derivatives coniferyl aldehyde and sinapyl aldehyde were used to prepare nitrile-containing methacrylate monomers with the aim to synthesize bio-based polymers exhibiting high glass transition temperatures (Tgs). The aldehydes were initially transformed to the corresponding nitriles and then underwent methacrylation before being polymerised by free-radical polymerisation. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Utvinning av metan genom membranseparering vid förgasning av biomassa : En litteraturstudie

    M1-uppsats, Mälardalens högskola/Akademin för ekonomi, samhälle och teknik

    Författare :Emil Nilsson; [2015]
    Nyckelord :product gas upgrading; membrane separation; biomethane; glassy polymer; rubbery polymer; gasification biomass; bio-SNG production;

    Sammanfattning : The possibility to extract bio-SNG from the product gas obtained from gasification of biofuel with a pressurized, oxygen-blown CFB gasifier connected to a heat and power station using only membrane separation was theoretically investigated. Selling the methane, instead of feeding it to the plant’s turbine(s), might mean that overall profitability is increased. LÄS MER
