  1. 1. Resolving temporal links between the Högberget granite and the Wigström tungsten skarn deposit in Bergslagen (Sweden) using trace elements and U-Pb LA-ICPMS on complex zircons

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Anders Plan; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Bergslagen; Wigström; Högberget; geochronology; geochemistry; U-Pb; REE; trace element; zircon; hydrothermal zircon; LA-ICPMS; SEM; skarn; tungsten; wolfram; scheelite; deposit; ore; critical raw material; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Combined U-Pb and REE trace element LA-ICPMS analyses were performed on zircons, from the scheelite-bearing Wigström skarn, associated micro-granitic dykes and the highly evolved parental Högberget (sensu stricto) granite. Combined systematic of zircon typology and microtextures, trace elements and isotopic chemistry suggest the presence of several diverse zircon types, spanning from early- to late- magmatic stage into a hydrothermal stage. 2. 2. Flotation of Yxsjöberg historical tungsten ore tailings

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Mineralteknik och metallurgi

    Författare :Princess Rochelle Gan; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Tailings dams, due to their sheer size and metal content, pose safety and environmental hazards. The Småltjarnen repository, which hosts material from the largest known tungsten mineralization in Sweden named the Yxsjöberg deposit, is estimated to contain 2. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Investigation of a wollastonite occurence in central Sweden

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Anett Elg; [1987]
    Nyckelord :geography; geology; wollastonite; central Sweden; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The wollastonite occurrence at Hulta is a skarn deposit associated with iron ore within the Leptite Formation of central Sweden. Wollastonite is found in carbonate layers within the leptite and the rocks have been subject to regional metamorphism. These layers are normally approximately 10 cm thick. LÄS MER
