2. On the (1/2,1/2) Representation of the Lorentz Group and the Discrete CPT Symmetries
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : This thesis derives the explicit form of the elements of the (1/2,1/2) representation of the Lorentz group, by actually performing a direct product of the chiral (1/2,0)- and (0,1/2)-representations. The Lorentz transformations of fourvectors are thereafter recovered from this direct-product representation, allowing the derivation of a transformation matrix between the fourvector- and direct product basis. 3. Constructing Numerical Methods For Solving The Guiding Equation In Bohmian Mechanics
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/MaterialteoriSammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to simulate a part of a proposed experiment by Lev Vaidman by using Bohmian mechanics. To do this a numerical method for solving the Schrödinger equation and theguiding equation was created, with several ways of making the simulation more efficient. LÄS MER
4. A Non-Relativistic Model of Tetraquarks
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)Sammanfattning : In this thesis, a non-relativistic model of tetraquark in a diquark-antidiquark configuration is investigated. Using a variation of the Cornell potential, the Schrödinger equation is solved numerically, and the four-body problem of the tetraquark is separated into to three two-body problems. LÄS MER
5. Comparative Analysis of Adaptive Domain Decomposition Algorithms for a Time-Spectral Method
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Time-spectral solvers for partial differential equations (PDE) have been explored in various forms during the last few decades. The generalized weighted residual method (GWRM) is one such method with a high accuracy and efficiency. The GWRM has so far been implemented almost exclusively with a uniform grid of subdomains in the spatial domain. LÄS MER
