  1. 1. Investigations of Electron Contamination in Photon Fluence Monitoring of Radiotherapy

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Medicinsk strålningsvetenskap

    Författare :Malcolm Lindqvist; Gustav Eriksson; [2015]
    Nyckelord :medical radiation physics; Photon Fluence Monitoring of Radiotherapy; immunology; genetics; pathology; radiation science; scandiDos; sjukhusfysik; scandiDos; filter; medicinteknik; akademiska sjukhuset;

    Sammanfattning : During the last decades radiotherapy has made major improvements in accuracy and individualization of the treatment techniques. In this project the thickness of a tungsten filter has been optimized using both simulations and experiments in order to further reduce the uncertainty in the dose given to the patient. LÄS MER

  2. 2. "Imaging with CBCT and 4D-CT of objects moving with respiratory motions"

    Master-uppsats, Medicinsk strålningsfysik (tills m KI); Fysikum

    Författare :Elias Lindbäck; [2012]
    Nyckelord :Medical Physicist; Radiotherapy; SBRT; CBCT; 4D-CT; Sjukhusfysik; Strålbehandling; SBRT; CBCT; 4D-CT;

    Sammanfattning : AB S TRACT purpose : To further investigate the effects of respiratory motions on CBCT imaging, as well as 4D-CT examinations, with a future goal of using obtained results to implement new methods for individual margins and daily matching procedures into routine clinical practice. background : Since the implementation of CBCT combined with modern accelerators, a higher degree of accuracy has been made possible in RT. 3. 3. Behovet av blyhandskar som skydd mot sekundärstrålning vid röntgenundersökning av djur

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Animal Environment and Health

    Författare :Ulrika Palfelt; [2012]
    Nyckelord :djuromvårdnad; djurhälsopersonal; blyhandskar; sekundärstrålning; röntgenundersökning; legitimerad djursjukskötare;

    Sammanfattning : X-rays are a potential risk for animal health care personnel. The present study will examine the risks for scattered radiation to the personnel, if no lead gloves are used when holding an animal during the x-ray examination. LÄS MER
