    Sammanfattning : “I’m different all the time” – A qualitative study of young people’s roles and collective identity formation in different parts of Gothenburg The purpose of this study was to compare young people’s view of their neighborhoods, and what significance the residential area has for their collective identity formation. Young people living in a residential area with a low proportion of native Swedes, low medium income and a high unemployment rate were compared with youths in an inner city district, where a great majority are native Swedes and the average income is high. Jag har valt att jämföra Stockholm, som arbetar traditionellt gentemot arbetsförmedlingen i Göteborg som arbetar via ett EU-projekt och Östersunds arbetsmodell som arbetar via en kommunal daglig verksamhet.
