   Sammanfattning : Title: Inclusion, a symbolic capital This study aims to showcase, using a case study of the Modern Museum of Art in Malmö, in what ways state-funded museums are put in conflict with politically held ideals and art agenthood in the field of the arts. With the central theories deriving from Pierre Bourdieu, this study argues that the museum is an agent who is held to standards set by the art field and is dependent on this field to receive legitimization from other co-agents. Syftet är att undersöka hur föreställningar, värderingar och idéer hos betraktare kan påverkas av det som bilderna förmedlar, och vilken makt bildproducenter av bilder på arkitektur har som individer och grupper.    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents and analyses the results of a bibliometric mapping study of the field of consumer research between 2000 and 2019, aiming to provide a simultaneously descriptive and analytical account of consumer research that identifies the overall structure of the field, as well as the major sub-specializations within it. By utilizing Pierre Bourdieu’s social theory and sociology of science, I analyse the central tendencies exhibited by consumer researchers with regards to the conventions they follow, the literatures they draw from and the way they relate to each other’s texts.
