    Sammanfattning : In feminist studies that attempt to theorize embodiment, fat bodies have largely been ignored and excluded from research even though scientific knowledge on weight-based stigma and discrimination shows the importance of studying fatphobia as a system of oppression. Hence, this thesis provides an analysis on the lived experience of fat bodies in relation to body normativity and visibility politics. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : European Studies as a mainstream field needs evaluation of how its structured, and what ontological, epistemological, and methodological approaches it takes. Through a theoretical framework consolidated mainly by Spivak and Said with a post-colonial lens on the European Studies Program, where it uses positional superiority, Subject-Constitution and Object-Formation concepts, theorizing “The Other” using anthropological writings and psychoanalysis, and use destructive representation to investigate the positionality of “The Other” or its effective absence, this dissertation investigate and analyze four core courses of European Studies Program at Malmö University to address the knowledge about, and the representation of, “The Other” within the program’s curriculum.     Sammanfattning : The residential area of Rosengård in Malmö – Sweden, is one of the many areas included in the ‘million programme’, a program that in the 1960s focused on building a million new homes over ten years in Sweden, meant to provide cheap housing options for the rapidly growing population.
