  2. 12. Evaluation of Performance and Image Quality for Voxel Cone Tracing

    Kandidat-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för innovation, design och teknik

    Författare :Johannes Finn; [2022]
    Nyckelord :computer graphics; voxel cone tracing; voxel-based rendering;

    Sammanfattning : Voxel cone tracing (VCT) is a rendering method designed to approximate global illumination in a fast and efficient way. Global illumination means to render not only the direct lighting of a scene but also light from indirect sources, simulating how light in the real-world tend to bounce around and illuminate even the areas that are occluded from a direct light source.     Nyckelord :Innovation implementation; Unintended outcomes; Mutual adaptation; Perceived value; Power structure; Knowledge; Perceived compatibility;

    Sammanfattning : Background - Multiple studies within different industries have shown that the majority of innovations adopted by organizations partly or completely fail, in the critical stage between the decision to use the innovation and its routinization. In the pursuit of understanding what makes innovation implementation fail or succeed, previous research has examined innovation implementation as a rather static process within single dimensions.
