  1. 1. Machine Learning for Sparse Time-Series Classification - An Application in Smart Metering

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Carl Ridnert; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Smart Meters are measuring devices collecting labeled time series data of utility consumptions from sub-meters and are capable of automatically transmit-ting this between the customer and utility companies together with other companies that offer services such as monitoring of consumption and cleaning of data. The smart meters are in some cases experiencing communication errors. LÄS MER

  2. 2. You Say You Want a Revolution - A Model on the Implications of Prospect Theory on Voting Behaviour

    D-uppsats, Handelshögskolan i Stockholm/Institutionen för nationalekonomi

    Författare :Cristina Altomare; Agron Nuredini; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Prospect Theory; Voting Model; Uncertainty; Expectations; Disruption;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we create a voting model with a prospect theory foundation, introducing reference-dependent risk preferences, loss aversion, and probability weighting in the individual utility function. Classical voting models represent perfectly rational voters, we argue that voter behaviour can be better modelled by introducing prospect theory preferences, especially recent political trends. 3. 3. Distinguishing between strategic and stochastic voters: An empirical study of misaligned voting in the 2010 Swedish parliamentary election

    C-uppsats, Handelshögskolan i Stockholm/Institutionen för nationalekonomi

    Författare :Sebastian Ekberg; Björn Nilsen; [2017]
    Nyckelord :misaligned voting; strategic voting; stochastic voting; asymmetric information;

    Sammanfattning : This paper examines the proportion of the Swedish electorate that did not vote for their most preferred party in the parliamentary election of 2010. We propose a way in which we can divide these misaligning voters into subgroups in order to further increase the understanding of what drives this behaviour. LÄS MER
