    Sammanfattning : El presente trabajo de investigación tiene el propósito de trazar y analizar la polifonía del espacio que se detecta en la novela Vivir afuera (1998) de Rodolfo Fogwill, determinando el espacio asignado a cada uno de los cinco protagonistas, la dicotomía espacial que rige en cada caso, y las transgresiones relacionadas con este tipo de dicotomía que tienen lugar en el relato.
