    Sammanfattning : Studiens syfte är att visa hur kön framställs i text och illustration i engelskläromedel för årskurs 3. Genom en kvalitativ textanalys framkom det att manliga karaktärer får mer utrymme än kvinnliga, att kvinnliga karaktärer passiviseras medan manliga karaktärer får ta plats samt att de könsöverskridande karaktärerna inte får vara starka.
