  1. 1. Study of the vibronic mixing in chlorophylls with multidimensional spectroscopy

    L3-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiska institutionen

    Författare :Ignacio Martínez Casasús; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Two-dimensional spectroscopy; Ultrafast spectroscopy; Chlorophyll a; Chlorophylls; Photosynthesis; Light harvesting; Vibronic mixing; Quantum coherence; Chemical physics; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Chlorophylls comprise one of the most important families of molecules for the photosynthetic process. Chlorophyll-like molecules have been classically interpreted under the Gouterman model, being thought to feature two independent transitions, Qy(S1) and Qx(S2). LÄS MER

  2. 2. Biophysical analysis of  PS II – LHCII supercomplex : Understanding the LHCII phosphorylation-dependent dynamics along the thylakoid membrane

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Kemiska institutionen

    Författare :André GRAÇA; [2018]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : .... LÄS MER

  3. 3. Wiring liposomes and chloroplasts to the grid with an electronic polymer.

    Master-uppsats, Biomolekylär och Organisk Elektronik; Tekniska högskolan

    Författare :David Jullesson; [2013]
    Nyckelord :Bio-solar cell; electro conductive polymer; thylakoid; photosynthetic electron;

    Sammanfattning : We present a novel thylakoid based bio-solar cell capable of generating a photoelectric current of    0.7 µA/cm2. We have introduced an electro conductive polymer, PEDOT-S, to the thylakoid membrane. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Role of the photosystem II-associated CAH3 in the oxygen evolving machinery in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii

    Master-uppsats, Institutionen för fysiologisk botanik; Umeå Plant Science Centre (UPSC)

    Författare :Umut Rende; [2012]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : One of the most abundant proteins on the Earth is ribulose-1,5-biphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RUBISCO). RUBISCO is a CO2 fixing enzyme in oxygenic photosynthetic organisms that it has low affinity for CO2. When CO2 is the limiting factor in the environment, RUBISCO works inefficiently due to its oxygenase activity. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Expression, purification and characterization of Violaxanthin De-epoxidase from Spinach

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiska institutionen

    Författare :Erik Hallin; [2011]
    Nyckelord :Proteinvetenskap; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Plants require sunlight to be able to perform photosynthesis but an excess of intense sunlight is harmful to the organism and therefore needs a method to protect itself. Violaxanthin De-Epoxidase (VDE) is located inside the thylakoid lumen and catalyzes the de-epoxidation of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin. LÄS MER
