The main objective of this thesis was to investigate the properties of emulsions containing PromOat® oat β-glucan, focusing on the viscosity, stability, and molecular weight before and after high pressure homogenization (HPH) at pressures of 100, 150 and 200 bars. The review identifies 85 relevant sources published between 2013 and March 2023, and categorises different research experiments into cell-level, module-level, electric vehicle (EV) pack-level, battery energy storage system (BESS) rack-level and warehouse storage experiments, according to LIB configurations.
