  1. 1. Estimating Diffusion Tensor Distributions With Neural Networks

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Algebra, geometri och diskret matematik; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakulteten

    Författare :Rimaz Nismi; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Diffusion; Magnetic Resonance Imaging; MRI; Neural Networks; Optimal transport; Earth mover s distance; Sinkhorn distance;

    Sammanfattning : Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an essential healthcare technology, with diffusion MRI being a specialized technique. Diffusion MRI exploits the inherent diffusion of water molecules within the human body to produce a high-resolution tissue image. An MRI image contains information about a 3D volume in space, composed of 3D units called voxels. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Movement Estimation with SLAM through Multimodal Sensor Fusion

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Medie- och Informationsteknik; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakulteten

    Författare :Jimmy Cedervall Lamin; [2024]
    Nyckelord :slam; discrete-slam; continuous-slam; synchronous; asynchronous; computer vision; BRISK; opencv; ceres; visual; inertial; sensor fusion; multimodal; Simultaneous Localization and Mapping; time offset; pose estimation; quaternions; movement estimation;

    Sammanfattning : In the field of robotics and self-navigation, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is a technique crucial for estimating poses while concurrently creating a map of the environment. Robotics applications often rely on various sensors for pose estimation, including cameras, inertial measurement units (IMUs), and more. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Towards a feedback system for upper body bodyweight exercises using multiple inertial measurement units : A user-centred approach

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Panagiota Papadopoulou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IMU sensors; bodyweight training; machine learning; real-time feedback; push-ups; tricep dips; plank;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the feasibility of developing an affordable and easy-to-use feed- back system that leverages information from multiple inertial measurement units (IMUs) to identify mistakes during upper body bodyweight training and provide real-time feedback to the user. To develop the system, a human-centered approach was used, which involved conducting semi-structured interviews with movement ex- perts and a workshop with targeted end-users to understand their needs. 4. 4. Wrist Angle Estimation Using Two Wearable Inertial Measurement Units

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Arvin Razavi; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IMU wrist angle estimation; Wrist absolute angle; IMU-based human motion capture; orientation filter; Complementary filter; Kalman filter; IMU handledsvinkeluppskattning; handleds absolutvinkel; IMU-baserad mänsklig rörelsefångst; orienteringsfilter; komplementfilter; Kalman-filter;

    Sammanfattning : Hand-intensive work is closely related to the prevalence of upper body and hand/wrist work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) in office work, manufacturing, service industries, as well as the healthcare industry. Some risk factors include vibrations, forceful exertions, heavy manual handling, repetitive motions, and prolonged nonneutral wrist postures. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Mätandets idé, vad är det? : En variationsteoretisk studie om undervisning i standardiserade – och icke -standardiserade mätningar i åk 1.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Jönköping University/Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation

    Författare :Ida Ljungqvist; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Students' understanding of “the idea of measurement” can be developed through measurement with standardized - and non-standardized units of measurement. Previous research has identified different difficulties in length measurement, but what does not emerge is how teaching can be designed to meet these difficulties. LÄS MER
