   Sammanfattning : The raw water in some of Umeå's abstraction wells has shown high nickel levels for more than a decade. The cause has not been determined but there is an investigation from 2010 where the results indicate sulphide clay found adjacent to two basins used for artificial infiltration. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : En nyligen genomförd studie visade att reaktioner mellan vissa radikaler och omättade alkener är snabbare vid rumstemperatur än vad man tidigare har trott. Dessa reaktioner är viktiga för atmosfäriska oxidationscykler och följaktligen var syftet med detta masterprojekt att beräkna hastighetskonstanterna för dessa reaktioner mellan metyljodid och 1-jodidpentan med tetrametyletylen, isopren och limonen vid rumstemperatur genom att kvantifiera respektive epoxid; tetrametyloxiran, isoprenmonoxid och limonen 1,2 epoxid, som producerades. Depending on the hydraulic properties of the rock and the surrounding soils, the inflow may cause a decline in the groundwater level above the tunnel line with possible consequences for nearby well facilities or groundwater dependent environments.
