  1. 1. Conjugate Heat Transfer Analysis of HPGP Thruster

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Rymdteknik

    Författare :Lisa Svensson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :aerospace; HPGP; ECAPS; ANSYS; conjugate heat transfer; thruster; space;

    Sammanfattning : This master's thesis was conducted in collaboration with ECAPS, where a conjugate heat transfer analysis on their High Performance Green Propulsion (HPGP) 22N thruster was done. ECAPS is a Swedish propulsion company specializing in green propulsion. They develop thrusters for spacecraft orbit and attitude control, utilizing the propellant LMP-103S. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Morphological study of PS/PMMA-matrix on glass, related to vapour pressure, mass-fraction, and size

    Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för ingenjörs- och kemivetenskaper (from 2013)

    Författare :Gustav Larsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :organic solar cells; polymer; morphology; film; AFM;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this study is to observe how changing amount or ratio between dried mixes of poly-methyl-methacrylate and poly-styrene change the surface appearance, and how the results might inform future design of Organic photovoltaic cells, whom are based on polymer mixtures and heavenly dependent on the arrangement of polymers. An atomic force microscope was used on glass surfaces coated in a poly-methyl-methacrylate/poly-styrene matrix and dried from either dichloromethane or ethyl-acetate to determine surface appearance. 3. 3. Operating procedures and evaluation of a carbon capture pilot plant

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)

    Författare :Isac Logeke; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Carbon Capture and Storage; CCS; AMP DMSO; amine absorption; pilot plant; operating procedures; chemical engineering; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : The rise in global emissions of carbon dioxide and the need for new technologies to combat climate change has prompted extensive research into carbon capture methods. This master thesis focuses on a novel carbon capture absorption technology, developed at Lund University, that utilizes the amine 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) in the organic solvent dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to capture CO2. 4. 4. Co-Simulation Development for Improved Cavitation Predictions in Oil-Hydraulics Systems : An investigation into the cavitating flow behavior of repetitive water hammers.

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Mekanisk värmeteori och strömningslära

    Författare :Thisal Mandula Sugathapala; Twan Bakker; Rahul Gudur Suresh; Aryan Delir; [2022]
    Nyckelord :co-simulation; water hammer; cavitation;

    Sammanfattning : Numerical modeling of cavitation using computational software is a highly pursued topic of research due to its impact in different industrial sectors. While some industrial applications such as wastewater treatment and mineral processing are known to advantageously use this phenomena, it remains an unwanted process in others where it is known to induce vibration, reduce performance and cause structural damage. 5. 5. MICRO-CLIMATE CHARACTERIZATION OF COMFORT MATERIALS : A CLIMATE ANALYSIS OF HIGH RESILIENCE FOAM IN MICRO-CLIMATE CONDITIONS

    Master-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Framtidens energi

    Författare :Ullas Siddachary; [2022]
    Nyckelord :High resilience; high density; foam; operational energy; comfort; materials; temperature; heat index; vapor pressure; humidity; PCR coating;

    Sammanfattning : Currently, it is widely recognised that the operational energy consumption of most building types currently outweighs their embodied energy by some margin. However, as we make dramatic increases in energy efficiency the embodied energy of the materials and components that we use will become proportionally larger and may account for a substantial proportion of the energy associated with buildings in the future.
