1. Damage Assessment of the 2022 Tongatapu Tsunami : With Remote Sensing
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/GeoinformatikSammanfattning : The Island of Tongatapu, Tonga, was struck by a tsunami on January 15, 2022. Internet was cut off from the island, which made remote sensing a valuable tool for the assessment of damages. Through land cover classification, change vector analysis and log-ratio image differencing, damages caused by the tsunami were assessed remotely in this thesis. LÄS MER
2. Presence detection by means of RF waveform classification
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknikSammanfattning : This master thesis investigates the possibility to automatically label and classify radio waves for presence detection, where the objective is to obtain information about the number of people in a room based on channel estimates. Labeling data for machine learning is time consuming and tedious process. To address this two approaches are evaluated. LÄS MER
3. Efficiency Comparison between Two-Level and T-Type Inverter for 800 V Automotive Application
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The falling cost of batteries, along with an increasing need to cut emissions, has spurred significant interest in the electrification of vehicles. In addition, as semiconductor devices have evolved, the research for electric vehicles with higher battery voltage has increased. LÄS MER
4. Signed Anti-Aliased Euclidean Distance Transform : Going from unsigned to signed with the assistance of a vector based method
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/InformationskodningSammanfattning : Knowing the shapes, sizes and positional relations between features in an image can be useful for different types of image processing.Using a Distance Transform can give us these properties as a Distance Map. LÄS MER
5. Urban infrastructure inundation risk from permanent sea-level rise scenarios in London (UK), Bangkok (Thailand) and Mumbai (India): A comparative analysis
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Due to anthropogenically created climate change, global cities are facing inundation by rising sea levels. This study aimed to fill knowledge gaps in understanding the exposure of urban infrastructure such as roads, railways, buildings and parks to sea-level rise (SLR) scenarios, and how this would affect local populations.
