    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the impact of the Lisbon Treaty on the rotating-presidencies ability to pursue national preferences and examines the consequences of these changes on the potential evolution of the EU as a whole. By using a qualitative text analysis and conducting a literature review this thesis acknowledges the subjective nature of a policy environment where almost all of the data and records of negotiation are kept behind closed doors.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this work is to critically examine the multimodal aspect of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Carriage of Goods Wholly or Partly by Sea (the Rotterdam Rules), in order to determine if the Convention would, in practice, bring the long desired legal uniformity and an overall beneficial environment for the shipping industry. The focus is on the liability provisions of the Convention, as compared to the regulations currently in vigour and to the previous regulatory attempts to regulate multimodal carriage. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Raspberry cane midge is a serious pest of raspberries. The larvae feed in natural splits in the primocanes and these feeding wounds allow entry of infection by several fungi. The complex of larval feeding and fungal infection is termed midge blight. Midge blight leads to poor vigour of second-year canes with fewer fruit-bearing lateral shoots. LÄS MER
