    Sammanfattning : In this essay we follow a professional female photographer on the island of Gotland in Sweden around the turn of the twentieth century. The story of Laura Stenman’s life has for a long time been hidden, but through literature- and archival studies, her biographical story was pieced together and revealed during the winter of 2019.
