The livestock production stands for nearly 15 percent of the greenhouse gas emissions in the world where beef generates the largest emissions per kg of all sorts of meat. 1 kg of beef causes emissions by 28 kg 𝐶𝑂2-equivalents. During two important years, 1964 and 1968, Wahlöö wrote the novels Murder On the 31st Floor and The Steel Spring, set in a near future land ruled by a social fascist power structure where political opposition is eradicated.
