  1. 1. School pressure and psychosomatic complaints among Swedish adolescents: does physical activity play a buffering role?

    Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för folkhälsovetenskap

    Författare :Alicia Birgersson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :School pressure; psychosomatic health complaints; physical activity; adolescents; moderation;

    Sammanfattning : Aim: The aim of the study was to explore the association between school pressure and psychosomatic health complaints and the potentially moderating effect of physical activity in a Swedish cohort of adolescents.Method: Cross-sectional data from the Swedish Health Behavior in School-aged Children (HBSC) survey of 2017/2018 was used, with participants aged 11-15 (n=3,745). 2. 2. Influence of structural complexity of the Rumperöd forest on evapotranspiration

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Madeleine Durdek; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Forest structural complexity; evapotranspiration; vapour pressure deficit; eddy covariance; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The influence of Forest Structural Complexity (FSC) on evapotranspiration (ET) was investigated in a mixed forest of Southern Sweden where micrometeorological Eddy Covariance (EC) measurements were conducted for the years 2015 to 2022. For each year, the top 25% of Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD) were selected to emphasize the response of ET to the driest atmospheric conditions. LÄS MER

  3. 3. DO SANCTIONS SIGNAL FOREIGN AID DETERRENCE? : A Quantitative Study on the Signaling Effect of Sanctions on Foreign Aid.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

    Författare :Mila Cekredzi; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sanctions; foreign aid; signaling effect;

    Sammanfattning : Both sanctions and foreign aid are common foreign policy tools. States which violate international norms are often sanctioned by senders, at the same time those may be the states in the most need of aid. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Long Run Emission-Growth Nexus: An Empirical Evidence

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Ekonomisk-historiska institutionen

    Författare :Champa Bati Dutta; [2014]
    Nyckelord :CO2 Emission; economic growth; Granger causality; substitution; Business and Economics;

    Sammanfattning : This study presents an empirical investigation of i) testing the Granger Causality between economic growth and aggregated carbon dioxide (CO2) emission; and economic growth and disaggregated CO2 emission from burning fossil fuel coal, oil and natural gas respectively; ii) the potential impact on economic growth if countries substitute CO2 emission from dirty energy, coal, by emission from relatively cleaner energy oil and natural gas. I undertake panel analysis of 30 countries and separate time series analysis for China, United States and United Kingdom during 1960-2010 sample years. LÄS MER
