Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study is to examine whether there is a connection between conflicts that arise between the students and the free play at the leisure center, and how these conflicts are handled. I answered the study's question with the help of qualitative interviews and observations. I interviewed four educators at four different leisure centers, and observed these activities. I have analyzed the empirical data from the sociocultural perspective. The result showed a clear connection between conflicts that arise between the students and the free play. The results also showed that the teachers in the leisure activities make use of the conflict management method mediation.
