Individer med funktionshinders upplevelser av delaktighet vid LSS-gruppbostäder och dagliga verksamheter : En kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer
Sammanfattning: Participation in this degree work is different degrees of influence an individual or groups of individuals have. Influence is information, consultation, dialogue, influence and co-decision. Social support is included in the degree work as a theoretical foundation. Social support is significant for the involvement of the individual. Västerås City made user surveys during the fall of 2017. The results from the surveys showed that the participation of the disabled individuals was low at several LSS- group homes and at daily activities. Therefore, committees, administrations and unit managers began to work with participation as goals and measurements in their activities. The purpose of the study is to qualitatively investigate what individuals with disabilities consider participation is and to study the experiences of individuals with LSS group homes and daily activities. A qualitative study has been conducted with semistructured interviews. The selection of interviews is women and men with disabilities in the ages of 27-59 years living at LSS group homes and working on daily activities. The analysis method performed is qualitative content analysis. The study shows that individuals believe that participation is a concept of multiple meanings; co-decision, community, commitment, affiliation, social support, work environment, etc. The individuals experience involved in the LSS group homes and at the daily activities. Individuals want more social support and a more similar way of working from the staff. In addition, the individuals want more contacts.
