Sur le chemin de l'équivalence : Stratégies de traduction de textes économiques

Sammanfattning: The focus of this paper has been to study the strategies that can be applied to translation of economic texts from French to Swedish. The study has been carried out on two journalistic texts written by the Swiss journalist Julie Zaugg. It includes a presentation of the characteristic traits of the economic genre as to terminology, semantic fields and collocational chains in combination with a presentation of the author’s personal style. The intention was to study how to combine different strategies in order to obtain a result as close to equivalence as possible.
